I always like to suggest Benidorm to any parent looking for an affordable yet sunny destination as this charming seaside resort on the east coast of Spain has plenty for the whole family. The best theme park, in my humble experience, is Terra Mítica, which has a cool “myths and legends of ancient Mediterranean civilisations” theme. It features Rome, Greece, The Islands, Iberia and Ocionia areas which are all bursting with exhilarating and brilliantly designed attractions.
